VMC Group, formerly known as VMC Co., Ltd., was established at the beginning of 2000, starting from a shop selling motorbikes at 239 Phan Dang Luu Street, Phu Nhuan District.

NeoVision brand was created, established the first factory in Ho Chi Minh City, started researching and applying new technologies in materials and production to industrial and civil products towards protecting consumers' health.

Expand the production line on a large scale
Cooperated with Nghe An Trading Joint Stock Company to open a motorcycle assembly line with the brand NEWVMC to distribute motorcycles from Nghe An province to Ca Mau province.

NeoVision won prestigious international awards
NeoVision brand was established in 2002 by VMC Group and entered the Top 100 Gold Suppliers and Prestigious Brand 2010 certified by NQA (UK). Also in this year, VMC's management decided to close the automobile and motorcycle business to shift to an investment model. VMC's investment oriented towards unlisted companies and startups, especially giving priority to products and services with high technology content, adapting to fast digital transformation, e-commerce, products/services aimed at protecting health and protecting the environment.

VMC Group thành lập Công Ty Cổ Phần Thương Mại Xuất Nhập Khẩu VMC (VMC Exim) phục vụ kinh doanh xuất khẩu ngành thép, thiết bị, máy móc phụ kiện riêng cho ngành công nghiệp sản xuất ô tô, liên danh hợp tác với đối tác lớn là tập đoàn Daehan Steel – Hàn Quốc.

VMC Group là Tập đoàn tiên phong đưa về Việt Nam công nghệ khoan định hướng trong thi công công trình ngầm (Horizontal Directional Drilling – HDD) – được ứng dụng rộng rãi ở nhiều nước tiên tiến trên thế giới. Đây là phương pháp thi công vượt trội không đào đường, không gây ảnh hưởng đến mặt đường, không gây ách tắc giao thông khi thi công nơi công cộng. Điều đặc biệt hơn nữa ở công nghệ HDD là quá trình thi công không làm ảnh hưởng đến môi trường xung quanh. Thời gian thi công nhanh, có thể lắp đặt đường ống trong các điều kiện đất nền khác nhau. Ngoài ra, công nghệ này còn thuận lợi cho việc quản lý, sửa chữa và bảo hành các thiết bị, đường ống và dây cáp; có thể thi công qua các địa hình phức tạp như tuyến xa lộ, đường băng, đường sắt, đồi núi, lòng sông…

Proposing high-tech options for the government
VMC Group and its partner Sekisui (Japan) have implemented the construction and installation of a smart anti-flooding reservoir, built on Vo Van Ngan Street in front of Children's Culture House, Ho Chi Minh City. Thu Duc. This project uses new technology, in which the installation of cross-wave modules is the main material that makes up the underground regulating lake.
The underground regulating lake takes advantage of up to 95% of the water in the lake to use for irrigation of trees and fire prevention. This is the model approved by the City People's Committee. HCM highly appreciated the new technology. Also in this year, VMC Group was also honored to be on the bidding list to invest in anti-flood projects with advanced technology by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, VMCtech under VMC Group has obtained the certificate of construction capacity Grade I issued by the Ministry of Construction during the year.

Invest in Real Estate
VMC has begun researching and investing in the resort real estate market with the aim of transforming undeveloped and non-agricultural land into high-end resort areas that still preserve the natural environment in localities such as Nha Trang, Binh Thuan, and Hue.
In 2019, with the Son My Beach Resort, Villas and Golf Course project in Binh Thuan, VMC invested with a Korean partner Daewon Cantavil, project was approved for a detailed planning ratio of 1:500.
This is a large-scale investment project with a total area of 182 hectares and a 1.2km coastline. The complex will include a 27-hole golf course, golf driving range, clubhouse, golf club, health care center, multipurpose meeting room, 5-star resort area, tennis court, swimming pool, restaurant, villa and townhouse areas, entertainment services, water sports club, children's playground, and related facilities for fire safety and environmental protection, such as wastewater treatment systems, electricity systems, and specialized fire protection systems.
Besides, the projects in Nha Trang and Hue are currently undergoing legal completion procedures.

VMC Group's NeoVision brand is invested to expand the factory capacity, bringing the total capacity to 40,000,000 products/year with increased variety of products with new researches and applying advanced technology to serve export demand.
